When You Need This Endorsement
The solo cross-country endorsement certifies that the student pilot has completed the required cross-country training and is proficient to conduct solo cross-country flights. This is required before the student can fly solo more than 50 nautical miles from the home airport.
Verify the student has completed cross-country training per § 61.93(b), understands navigation, fuel management, and airspace rules. Include the specific aircraft category/class.
