When You Need This Endorsement
The knowledge test endorsement authorizes a pilot to take the FAA knowledge (written) test for a certificate or rating. It certifies the pilot has completed the required ground training and is prepared to pass the exam.
Specify the certificate type (Private, Commercial, etc.) and aircraft category/class. Verify the pilot has completed all required knowledge training topics before issuing this endorsement.
